Widowed for 11 years, she has three children: Ashlee, 19; Zack, 13; and Ben, 11. She loves to scrapbook, decorate, work out at the gym and hopes to study phsychology at university someday.

The head of Physical and Health Education at Rothesay Netherwood School was head coach of the medal-winning N.B rowing team at this summer’s Canada Games. She competed as a rower at the Olympics in 1976 and 1984. She has lived in the Valley for five years and recently moved to Darlings Island with her daughter Emma.
Kids love Lakefield’s new climbing structures
As soon as the recess bell rings at Lakefield Elementary School kids are lining up for a chance to climb on the new playground equipment, says Paula Nicholson. Nicholson, chair of the school’s playground committee, said over the summer the playground was upgraded by adding two new pieces of equipment and restructuring the area to make it flatter and dryer.
